BIG PROBLEMS - 1. This program won’t let you download anything in high def. It gives you no option to choose. 2. When I asked the develeoper about that he blew me off. He wrote “It was not advertised.” That seemed arrogant. 3. I keep getting CAN’T CREATE FILE messages 4. And yes, I did install the patch. Avoid this please at all costs! Don’t waste the time or money.

This has not worked on a sngle youtube video. And if it doesn’t work on Youtube videos then what good is it? And yes, I’ve followed the directions to the letter, and have also tried the suggestions people have listed below. Pretty pathetic when people have to list possible hacks to make this app work.

Simply put - it does not work. Waste of money.

Does not download any of the youtube audio I need, it just says “Could not retrieve valid URL"

I downloaded the app, but couldn’t get it to open. Tried for several minutes and then found the FAQ section (not easy to see). After reading the answers in the FAQ’s, I found out that the app would not open like most apps. You have to look in your menu bar (top right hand corner of screen) to find a cloud with an arrow pointing down. Once you open the menubar icon, you copy and paste the url and the video is downloaded into your DOWNLOADS folder. Just clik on the video and it opens right up.

I expected this app to download the video. Rather, it downloaded the script for the webpage! smh If you downloaded it because you thought it was going to download the video….you are mistaken. Save your 4.99 this pos should be free..

I bought and tried a bunch of apps to save video from online, they have malware or upsells or 47 glowing reviews on their own website but not a peep of anything good anywhere online or even on CNET, but I wanted a full featured app. THIS IS THE FIRST APP YOU SHOULD GO WITH, I can download most things with excellent quality, quickly, and I’d rather pay the (increased price) of $4.99 than any of the free ones, and get something that only downloads the program as a great working app RIGHT from the iTunes store, rather than unapproved stuff with mystery background files. Works FANTASTIC. I can download a video right to my Mac, and send it to my iPhone with Airdrop. Anything on Youtube I wished was in the iTunes store and on my iPhone NOW IS!! In the app store page is the link to the developer’s website, and there is a patch, which I did have to download, and it works AMAZINGLY since. I’m leaving this review because I spent a LOT of time buying and trying other apps, looking for one that changed file types, HD, etc… this doesn’t offer that, but the quailty of download is great, and it also saves just audio (for music). Even if you’re like me, looking for features out the wazoo, you will be COMPLETELY satisfied with this one. Trust me! Stop hunting and comparing, and get THIS ONE!

This app only does a couple things, download videos and importantly for me, extract audio. There are other apps that attempt to do this and other things and judging by their reviews, fails to do much of anything very well. In my experience this app does these two simple things perfectly. It was exactly what I was looking for and I’m relieved by the lack of pain.

Inexpensive. Easy to use. When the app is opened, it resides in the upper right menu bar. Paste your video URL, and as soon as the app locates the video, you’ll be given a radio button to proceed with download. No frills, no java, but no download choices as to resolution; however, it will download an audio-only file. And having a price tag of $1.99 doesn’t hurt either. Go ahead. Buy it.

Great app. Would love a feature that allows to choose the resolution I want to download 720p or 1080p

Tried to rip a video my daughter sent me through ova share and it could not retrieve the video.

It’s so unbelievably frustrating to download videos and a google search gets you crappy software that will only let you download the whole thing if you pay $60 for the full version. This app is TWO DOLLARS and in less than a minute I had downloaded this app AND the video I was trying to download for the past hour. Couldn’t reccommend enough. Well worth it. 5 stars

Best App on the market for a simple, straight forward downloader of YouTube videos. No fancy settings but what do you want for this price? Congratulations to the programers for not getting distracted with trying to do too much. Outstanding App.

If you lost the ability to download videos in May 2015 with another free program, this is your solution!

this app is so cool. it can help me get hundred files in just few hours. More over it’s not just about download but it also generate audio file along with and it’s all i want. now I’m eye opened after fool by wording “pro” and more expensive. Thx developer

This app is awesome. Straightforward, works well, works the first time, sits nicely in the menubar. My one request to the developer would be to allow the user to choose the resolution for download. Please! Thank you!

Love this app. Will never have to fool around with those other “questionable” free internet downloaders. I had a question and the author got right back to me.

I have tried using this on multiple sites and had success with every download. The only suggestion I have is to have all active downloads in one window.

It works great at simply downloading videos, although I believe some features need to be added like: - Being able to choose the quality at which I want the video to be downloaded (720p, 1080p..). - Being able to choose a specific section of the video to download (for example, from 02:34 to 4:33). Also, it doesn’t work for dailymotion. If these features are added in the next update, I’m going to give it 5 stars for sure.

Works exactly as expected. Let me paste the URL and you give me the audio. Boom! WonderShare….is NOT Wonderful, so I gave up on it and use this now.
